INDIANAPOLIS - The schools still alive in the Boys Football State Tournament are getting closer to their ultimate goal of playing for a championship at Lucas Oil Stadium. Only two steps remain with the regional round kicking off across fields in Indiana.
A class 6A showdown between No. 1 Lawrence North and No. 4 Brownsburg highlighted Friday's schedule. The Wildcats have never made the semi-state round, while the Bulldogs haven't been there since 1985, their last state football championship season.
