INDIANAPOLIS - Out of all the high school football action from FOX59's coverage of IHSAA Semi States, two plays stood out as the best of the best. Now your vote will determine the winner of the Shelbourne Knee Center Play of the Game
NOMINEE #1: DECATUR CENTRAL'S FA'REL CARTER
Decatur Central had just given up a game-tying field goal to Bloomington South with less than three minutes to play in the game. They got a big play from the kickoff return team to take the lead right back as Fa'rel Carter broke a couple of tackles on his way to the end zone, scoring what would be the game-winning touchdown for the Hawks to clinch a berth in the IHSAA 5A State Championship game.
NOMINEE #2: BROWNSBURG'S KOVON SUMPTER-BEY
Brownsburg came out for the 3rd quarter against Center Grove with a four-point lead, but immediately made a statement on their first offensive play from scrimmage of the half as Kovon Sumpter-Bey broke free through the middle for a long touchdown run that wound up being the game winner in the Bulldogs' 31-27 victory over the Trojans to clinch a berth in the IHSAA 6A State Championship game.
