The Indianapolis Colts are making a major investment into girls flag football.
The Colts, alongside team owner Jim Irsay’s family, are supporting the development of girls high school flag football in Indiana with a $1 million donation. The team announced the initiative during Sunday's home game against Detroit.
The campaign will help cover the costs of uniforms, equipment, training and coaching stipends, among other things.
Ande Sadtler, director of community impact, and Andy Matis, senior manager of football development, joined FOX59 Morning News to talk about the investment and the importance of growing the sport in Indiana.
