INDIANAPOLIS - The Fever and forward Katie Lou Samuelson have mutually parted ways as the team continues to remake its roster this offseason.
Samuelson played just one season in Indiana averaging 4.3 points per game in 37 appearances. The Fever signed her to a multi-year contract last February after playing four seasons in Chicago, Dallas, Seattle and Los Angeles.
Indiana's had an active offseason starting with replacing Christie Sides with 1995 Indiana Miss Basketball Stephanie White as head coach.
The team re-signed All-Star guard Kelsey Mitchell, then dealt former number two overall pick NaLyssa Smith as part of a four-team trade to acquire guard Sophie Cunningham.
The Fever signed forward Natasha Howard, forward DeWanna Bonner and guard Sydney Colson in free agency. All three have won multiple WNBA championships.
The team released 2023 draft picks Grace Berger and Victaria Saxton.
The Fever is looking to build off last season's playoff appearance. The 2025 season tips-off at Gainbridge Fieldhouse against the Sky on May 17.
