INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indiana Pacers announced that forward Pascal Siakam has officially been acquired from the Toronto Raptors as part of an exchange deal involving Bruce Brown and Jordan Nwora heading to Toronto.
The Pacers confirmed that the deal also involved two first-round picks in 2024 and a conditional first-round pick in 2026. Previous reports indicated that the deal was gaining momentum, with The Athletic’s Shams Charania and ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reporting on the deal. The Raptors will also receive Kira Lewis Jr. from the New Orleans Pelicans as part of the trade.
Siakam is a two-time NBA All-Star and two-time NBA selection who played a pivotal role in Toronto's championship-winning season in 2019.
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Pascal to Indiana,” said President of Basketball Operations Kevin Pritchard. “As a two-time All-NBA selection and two-time NBA All Star, Pascal is a player that our organization has long admired and respected. We feel that his unique offensive skillset will complement our style of play, while his defensive versatility will be a valuable asset to our team.”
Siakam will wear number 43 for the Pacers.
