Former Pacer Domantas Sabonis led Sacramento with 26 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists.
Indiana's top scorer was Bennedict Mathurin. The second-year guard racked up 31 points and led all Pacers in minutes on Friday.
All-star guard Tyrese Haliburton came off the bench instead of starting against his former team. He scored 14 points in the loss.
