INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indiana Fever is giving Indianapolis residents the chance to celebrate the team's new number-one pick at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and the surrounding area on April 15.
The Indiana Fever will host a 2024 draft party starting at 5:30 p.m. on April 15. Tickets are free but will have to be claimed on the Fever's website.
The Fever hold the number one pick in the 2024 draft. This year, Iowa Guard Caitlin Clark, the all-time leading scorer in college basketball history, announced she would enter the WNBA in the 2024 season.
The festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m. at the Bicentennial Unity Plaza in downtown Indianapolis. Attendees are able to grab food and beverages, and experience family fun activities before the Gainbridge Fieldhouse doors open at 6:30 p.m. The draft live stream is expected to begin at 7:30 p.m.
Officials said complementary parking will be available in the Virginia Avenue Garage, a parking garage located across from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. For more information, click here.
