INDIANAPOLIS – Drew Ogletree has returned to the Indianapolis Colts’ active roster.
The veteran tight end was placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt list in December after being charged with domestic battery. Those charges were dismissed with prejudice in March, meaning they cannot be refiled.

That development, coupled with their own investigation into the situation, convinced the Colts to retain Ogletree.
“He’s back,’’ general manager Chris Ballard said Friday.
Asked if he was comfortable with the information the team gathered, he replied, “Yes. Absolutely comfortable with it.’’
Ogletree, 25, was a sixth-round pick in 2022.

The 6-5, 260-pounder missed his rookie season after tearing the ACL in his right knee during training camp. In 2022, he nine receptions for 147 yards and two touchdowns in 12 games before being placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt list with his legal problems.
