INDIANAPOLIS – After closing out the New York Knicks in seven games, the Indiana Pacers set their sights on the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Whoever wins the series advances to the NBA Finals.

The Pacers and Celtics met five times in the regular season, with Boston holding a 3-2 edge.

Their games were notable; the Pacers surrendered 155 points in one loss; Tyrese Haliburton had his first career triple-double in a win; and the Pacers star also suffered a season-altering injury during a game in which the Pacers gutted out a victory.

After an intense series against the Knicks, the Pacers now get to take on an Eastern Conference powerhouse that finished with the NBA’s best record at 64-18. The Celtics beat the Miami Heat in the first round and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round; both series went five games.
