INDIANAPOLIS — Caitlin Clark has been named the WNBA Rooke of the Month for the second time in three months.
Clark has been on a scorcher throughout the month of July, averaging 20.3 points, 12.5 assists, 6.3 rebounds and 1.8 steals. Clark leads all WNBA rookies in points, assists, steals, minutes, field goals made, 3-pointers made and free throw shooting percentage.
Clark also is the WNBA leader in assists per game at 8.2.
During the Indiana Fever's six games in July, Clark has been on a tear with four consecutive double-doubles. She also made league history on July 17 when Clark recorded a record 19 assists — breaking the previous single-game WNBA record of 18 assists.
Clark will be joining her fellow Fever teammates Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell in the WNBA All-Star game which will air on ABC on Saturday at 8:30 p.m.
Clark joins Boston as the only rookie in Indiana Fever history to be named Rookie of the Month twice. Clark previously was named WNBA Rookie of the Month in May before Angel Reese stole the crown in June. Clark now reclaims the title and will join her Chicago Sky rival in the All-Star game.
